Michele Teague, MSW, LSW

Therapist for individuals and couples working through trauma, anxiety, and relational healing

Hi, I’m Michele Teague—and I’m really glad you’re here.

I know how overwhelming it can be when a serious situation, whether your own or a loved one’s, takes over your life. I became a therapist because I’ve lived through some of those seasons myself. They’ve shaped who I am and how I show up—with empathy, presence, and a commitment to walking with clients through what’s hard.

I work with youth (10–18), young adults, and adults navigating stress, grief, identity, and relationships. I support individuals, couples, families, professionals, and LGBTQ+ clients with a creative and compassionate approach tailored to each person’s story.

My training includes Family Systems, EMDR, Grief & Loss, and Perinatal Mood Disorders. I also integrate CBT and DBT to offer practical, effective tools for managing emotions, relationships, and daily life.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I enjoy games, music, movies, and movement—especially coaching, teaching Zumba, and gardening. I’d be honored to support you as you take the next step toward healing and growth.

You may find yourself:

  • Carrying the weight of past trauma or painful memories that still affect your present

  • Feeling stuck in anxious thought loops, panic, or emotional overwhelm

  • Struggling to connect with your partner or rebuild trust after a rupture

  • Questioning your identity, beliefs, or sense of purpose after a life transition

  • Feeling like you’re “too much” or “not enough”—and exhausted by both

  • Wanting more peace in your body, clarity in your relationships, and alignment in your life

What You Can Expect From Me:

In our work together, I’ll help you make space for the emotions you’ve been holding in—or pushing away. I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can slow down, reconnect with your body, and gently explore what’s been shaping your story.

I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that includes EMDR, parts work, somatic practices, and spiritual support when desired. I believe healing isn’t about forcing change—it’s about creating the conditions where transformation becomes possible.
